Thank you for purchasing 9xmarine’s premium custom-designed boat stickers. These stickers are not just replicas of the original decals that came with your boat; they are newly r or redesigned images based on your boat's original logotype. We have meticulously chosen the finest waterproof polyester material for transferring the image, along with top lamination for added protection. As indicated in our offer, all our small-sized decals, up to 10 inches in length, require manual cutting using scissors, akin to a third-grade school exercise. This manual cutting is necessary due to the shapes of these stickers. We offer over 1600 different boat stickers, and creating custom dies for each one is impractical. However, all our 15-inch stickers are die-cut, giving them a dimensional look with rendered lights and shadows that mimic plastic chrome and epoxy doming. Once applied to your boat, it will be nearly impossible for the naked eye to discern whether the decal is flat or has some thickness or epoxy doming. If you expected the sticker to come with epoxy puffy doming based on the picture in the offer, we apologize for any confusion. This serves as a reminder that appearances can be deceiving.

Installation:

Before applying the decal, ensure that the surface is cleaned and degreased, particularly removing any powder-dried chalky gelcoat. If you need to adjust the sticker's position, generously apply a blue glass cleaner such as Fantastic to both the application surface and the adhesive surface of the sticker. You have 3 minutes to reposition the sticker. Once positioned, use a sponge and pressure to remove excess liquid and air from under the sticker. While the adhesive will cling to the surface in 20 minutes, allow 24 hours for it to permanently bond with the application surface, especially crucial for underwater decals in sterndrive applications.

Care and Protection:

Boats are exposed to cleaning agents that may contain acetone and acid components, which can dull the clarity of the sticker’s lamination. To restore surface clarity, we recommend applying a thin layer of clear water based polyurethane, especially along the sticker's top edges, after installation. The sticker's lifespan also depends on its installation angle: installing it on the boat’s sloping surface (\) offers better protection from the elements and prolongs its useful life compared to a vertical position (|). If your sticker loses lamination over time, simply remove it, use masking tape around it, and apply clear water based polyurethane with a small fine brush.

Product Return:

You can always return your sticker for a full refund. Damaged stickers will be replaced at no cost; simply send us a picture of the damage so we can file a claim with our post office. Before leaving negative feedback, please allow us the opportunity to resolve any issues. However, once negative feedback is posted, we will no longer service your account. Please use the return system available from the e-commerce platform where you originally purchased the sticker, as they will handle the refund process.
